He is survived by his son; Walter Takamura, his daughter-in-law Marian Takamura; grandchildren, Kurtis and Emily Takamura; and relatives from Japan. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 3 pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes.
