Monroe Eugene "Gene" Barker

Monroe "Gene" Barker passed away peacefully on March 4, 2016 at the age of 98. He was born on February 12, 1918 in Fairfield, Texas and had been a long time resident of Carson, California.
Gene is survived by his beloved children, Vance (Patricia) Barker, Margie Marie (Gene) Powers, Kent (Debbie) Brown, Kenneth "Sonny" (Michelle) Brown, Pamela (Kenny) Ogle, Janet Newcomb, Jeannie Hammond, Karl (Leslie) Brown, Eva Ryan along with a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 9am to 11am at the Green Hills Mortuary Malaga Suite. Graveside Services will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park at noon.
