Mildred was born in PA, but grew up in New York City. She met her husband under an umbrella at a bus stop! They raised their family in the Bronx and in Westchester County, New York, before moving as a family to Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, in July 1972. Mildred loved sharing the gardening with her husband Frank. Her other hobbies included knitting, needlepoint, and other artistic things, as well as being a fantastic cook! Mostly she was a loving and wonderful wife, mother & "Nana".
She was a strong woman, as she battled with Alzheimer's Disease over the last 7-8 years; overcoming many setbacks and complications along the way. She charmed everyone with her laughter and smiles!
The family wishes to thank the many warm & wonderful caregivers that shared in her life with great care. Also they wish to thank the owner and staff at Bayside Hospice for their wonderful care over the last 16 months, and up to the very end.
