Michael J. Vuoso

Michael J. Vuoso passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 10, 2018 at the age of 62. He was born and raised in San Pedro on September 13, 1955. He was a proud member of the ILWU Marine Clerks Local 63 for many years. Michael is survived by his parents Frank and Barbara Vuoso, brothers Tom (Loretta) and Pat (Leeann) Vuoso, and by his Loving girlfriend Maria Tran and family. He also leaves behind his nephews and nieces Andrew Vuoso (Tiffany), Leslie (Marco) Salvato, Nicole Vuoso (Phil), Ethan Vuoso and Olivia Jo Salvato. The family is truly grateful for the outpour of love and support from all of his longtime friends. Everyone who knew Mike loved his big smile and his big heart. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
