Michael James Mcginnis

Michael J. McGinnis, age 81, died surrounded by his family on July 26, 2022. Michael was born on July 8, 1941 in Long Beach, California. He and his family resided in the California Heights
area of Long Beach. Michael retired from a career working for the City of Long Beach, Water Department after 30 years.

He was a proud supporter of the Long Beach Police Officers Association (LBPOA), where he proudly volunteered for many years. He was fondly known as Mr. Mc G and famous for bringing in his pickled eggs for everyone to enjoy. He also was a member of the Long Beach Motor Patrol Association and Long Beach K-9 Officers Association. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle, his brother, Bill. Along with numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Michael was a loving husband, father, brother in law and uncle. He was a great friend to many.

Help us celebrate Michael’s life on Wednesday, August 24th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Memorial Park located at 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. The service will be held in the chapel.
