Michael P. King

Michael King died peacefully at home with his loving wife and family at his side on September 6, 2014. He was born on September 13, 1935 in San Pedro, California, and served in the United States Navy for 20 years. He was a proud veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. His biggest joy was spending time with his wonderful family. He enjoyed taking them on trips to Las Vegas and Disneyland. He is survived by his wife, Josephine of 56 years, son Michael (Lisa), daughter, Diana Diaz King, 6 grandchildren, and 7 1/2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Green Hills Mortuary 3 pm - 8 pm Wednesday, September 10th, and funeral services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel 9 am on Thursday, September 11th. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Disabled American Veterans PO BOX 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250 - 0301.
