Michael Paul Arnado, affectionately known as “Mikey”, 53-years old, was received into glory on February 4, 2019, at his parent's home in Carson, California. He fought valiantly against Renal Cell Carcinoma, saw victories along the way, but ultimately, the cancer spread throughout his body. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God and the love and prayers of family and friends carried him through to the end.
Mike was born on August 6, 1965 in Long Beach, California to Edmund and Angelina Arnado. The middle child of six siblings.
Known for his tough-guy exterior, those who befriended him, found a loyal, loving man. He possessed a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. Mike enjoyed driving his Corvette and Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing guitar, drawing and cheering on the Lakers.
He had a passion for the truth of God’s Word. Mike lived out 2 Timothy 2:15, he studied to show himself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.
After pursuing several careers: Hair Stylist, Mechanic, Construction and Medical Billing, he landed the job he loved, Longshoreman. Throughout his battle with cancer, he talked of returning to the docks.
Mike is survived by his parents, Eddie and Angie, siblings, Danny, Gina, Edward, David and Al, nieces, Lisa, Ariel and Allison, nephews, John, Bryan, Jeremy, Daniel and Vincent, great nephews, Troy and Caleb, great niece, Mia, and his love, Sophea.

Though we dearly miss Mike, we also rejoice; because of his faith in Christ Jesus, he is whole and more alive than ever.
Heaven just got sweeter
The one we love loved Jesus too
No more suffering or pain
Now he's in that place where all things are new
Even though we’re hurting
Mike knows we know where he is
And someday he'll come running when we get there too
Yes, Heaven just got sweeter for us
