Mercedes Peralta Ortega passed away on June 2nd, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in Banamichi, Sonora, Mexico on April 18th, 1931, and was a long-time resident of San Pedro, California. She is survived by her son, Genaro (Olga) Ortega, Daughter Rebecca (Elias) Villegas, Grandchildren, Jared Ortega, Joshua (Sarah) Ortega, Elijah (Gwen) Villegas, Isaiah Villegas, Sarah Villegas, Jeremiah Villegas, Great Grandchildren, Isaac Ortega, Audrey Sanchez-Villegas, Felix Villegas ,Ozzy Villegas, Olivia Ortega, Kenny Villegas, Aria Mars Sanchez. Visitation will be held from 4pm - 8pm on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at Green Hills Mortuary visitation room. A Funeral Service will be held at 9am on Friday, June 14th, 2024, at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by interment.
