Mayumi "May" Mascenik

Mayumi Mascenik, 56, died March 2 2024 at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, California after an extended illness.

Mayumi was born in the Kansai region of Japan and emigrated to the U.S. at the age of 23. She later became a naturalized U.S. citizen.

She was the IT Director of a global communications company that originated in Japan and expanded worldwide.

She loved to travel and had visited many countries abroad. She also loved musicals with several trips to Broadway in New York City and the West End Theater District in London.

Mayumi is survived by her loving husband, Stephen, her parents Kenji and Kiyoko Yasuda, and sisters Yoko and Yuki.
