Matthew Geffner

Matthew, the son of Randi and Steve Geffner, was born October 12, 1988 in Santa Monica, California and passed away following a sudden illness on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Manhattan after realizing his lifelong dream to move to New York. Matthew was preceded in death by his father Steve and his beautiful grandma Barbara, who helped to instill in him his love of New York City.

Matthew is survived by his mother Randi, sister Morgan, grandfathers Jack and Michael, aunt Teri and uncle Mike, aunt Deena and uncle Jerry, cousins Stella and Cami, as well as a huge loving family and a host of friends.
The Memorial Service will be Wednesday May 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. Interment will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charities near and dear to Matthew's heart, Camp del Corazon or Our House Grief Support Center.
