Matilde M. Vergara

I am heart-broken to announce the death of my mother, Matilde Manuel Vergara, wife of the late Carlos V. Vergara. She passed peacefully on October 7, 2022.

Matilde was born in Laoag City, Philippines on March 14, 1930 to Benito Manuel and Romana Miguel, the youngest of 6 siblings. My mom enjoyed teaching elementary school which she gave her heart and soul for 50 years both in Gattaran, Philippines and Los Angeles, CA USA. She also enjoyed dinner and dancing in her finest attire and conducting business of various types. She is survived by her loving daughter Geraldine Tricia M. Vergara and her adoring grandchildren Willow Amma Vergara & Amara Rain Vergara.

Visitation & Rosary will be held at 430-830pm on November 9th & 10th and the Funeral Mass on Friday 11/11 at 1130am at Green Hills Mortuary & Chapel 27501 S. Western Ave Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Lunch will follow for close family and friends.
