Mary Taylor

Mary Ella Taylor was born to the proud parents of Leo and Leotis Taylor in Scott Mississippi. She was the oldest of seven children. In 1956 her parents moved to Harbor city CA where she attended Normont elementary and Fleming jr. high, where she held the record for the fifty yard dash, not sure if its been broken yet. She then went on to Narbonne high where she graduated and went to Mary Mount college and California trade tech school where she got certified for a medical billing and file clerk job. She also has a background in office management/administration along with switch board operator. At the age of fifty she attended Intercoast college studying for her associates degree in psychology for drug counseling. Mary loved reading and writing (she wanted to write a book)she loved arts and crafts, decorating and playing cards with her family and friends. She had a close nit relationship with her sisters and brothers and was the bestfriend of her four daughters as well as her grandchildren whom were her pride and joy. She loved reading and writing with them, sleepovers and attending their school and sports events. Mary was lucky in life to have met the love of her life Mr. Hillary Landreux he would often buy her flowers which she adored. They loved to go to plays, musicals and parties together. Mr. Hillary Landreux played a pivotal part in Mary's later years becoming a trusted friend, companion and confidant in her life. Mary had a host of family and friends whom truly enjoyed her company. They often called her "pam" a nick name from a soap opera she loved as a kid. Mary was outgoing, funny, intelligent, kind and loving. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
