Mary V. Mooneyham

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Mary Mooneyham. She was born on May 11, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away August 22, 2015 in Harbor City, California. She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Mooney, brothers, Dan Riordan and Chuck Riordan. She is survived by her children, Katie Simpson, Laurie Simpson, David Mooneyham, Charles Mooneyham, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and her brother, Ron Riordan. She was a graduate of Banning High and of Los Angeles City College. She was a member of the Society of Porcelain Artists and Teachers of California, a Torrance adult school teacher for 10 years, worked for Redondo Beach Unified School District, and was a volunteer at Torrance Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, square dancing, and was a very active member of St. Marks Presbyterian Church in Lomita, California. Visitation will be held at Green Hill Mortuary on September 17, 2015 from 3pm to 8pm.
