Mary Jakomina Manestar

Mary J. Manestar passed away on July 10, 2016 at the age of 81. She was born on February 28, 1935 in Crikvenica, Croatia and was a longtime resident of Rancho Palos Verdes, California. She loved fishing with her husband, cooking, gardening, sewing and knitting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil Manestar, parents, Jack and Ivka Kostrencich. She is survived by her daughter, Emily (Tom Zelanai) Manestar, son, Matthew (Helene) Manestar, grandchildren, Giovanni Mamone, Isabella Manestar, sister-in-laws, Rosemary Marinkovich, Helen Satterfield, JoAnn Manestar and several nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held at Green Hills Mortuary (Villetta suite) 6pm – 8pm on Thursday, July 14, 2016 and a funeral service will be held at 9am on Friday, July 15th at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
