Mary Lou Hernandez

Mary Lou Hernandez, the daughter of Joseph and Nickey Escandon, passed away on August 11, 2014 at the age of 72. She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on February 24, 1942, and was a longtime resident of Torrance, California. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Alvino Escandon, Gloria Depina, Joe Escandon, and survived by her children, Joanne Garcia, Lorraine Hernandez, John Hernandez, grandchildren; Daniel Mestas, Jr., Stephanie Hernandez, Megan Sandoval, Dave Garcia, Leah Duarte, Neesha Harper, Jenika Garcia, Adrianne Garcia, John Hernandez, Dakota Hernandez, Shawnee Hernandez, Summer Hernandez, great grandchildren; Deay Sandoval, Peyton Hernandez, Daniel John Hernandez; siblings, Richard Escandon, Henry Escandon, Fred Escandon, Martha Munoz.
Visitation will be held Monday 5 pm - 9 pm, August 25, 2014 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel; Funeral Mass to be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Wilmington at 11am on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 followed by interment in Green Hills Memorial Park.
