Mary Jo Gentry

Mary Jo Gentry passed away April 20, 2015. She was born on June 4, 1933 at San Pedro Hospital in San Pedro, CA to Leroy and Katie Phillips. She was the eldest of 2 daughters. She is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, Dan and Karen; preceded in death by Kathy; grandchildren, Andrea, Jason, Kyla and Kory. Mary Jo spent her educational years at Barton Hill, Dana Junior High School and San Pedro High School. She took great pleasure in reading the newspaper front to back, crossword puzzles, knitting and most importantly enjoying her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, unconditional love, and the laughter she brought into any room. A Funeral Service will be held at 9am on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
