Mary L. Fausto

On Sunday, January 29, 2023, Mary Louise Fausto, loving wife, mother, Nana and Auntie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on November 5, 1926 to Juan and Elena Ortiz. Mary was the last surviving sibling of 14 living out her life in San Pedro. Mary received her real estate brokers license in 1965, sold real estate in the Harbor Area for 55 years and was a proud member of the ILWU Auxiliary. In June of 1968, she married Lucio L Fausto. They raised six children: Narcissa (Alan) Feinberg, Anthony Cardenas, Antonio Fausto, Linda (David) Salas (deceased), Steven Fausto (deceased) , Ricardo (Frances) Fausto, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
She loved being surrounded by her family, be it camping at Three Rivers or at the beach house in Rosarito. She was very proud of her family. She never missed a ball game or school event and was their loudest cheerleader in the bleachers. Mary was known for her quick wit, her infectious humor and her kind, compassionate spirit. She will be missed.. “We love you BIG!”
