Mary Anderson

Mary Elizabeth Anderson, 86, of Torrance, California passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2018. Born, August 19, 1931 in Longford, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John Plunkett and Kathleen Farrell. Mary, also known as Mai, was a woman of deep faith. Although she did not invent sarcasm, she did perfect it. Her smile and laughter were contagious. Mary was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, a grandmother and a mother-in-law. She touched the hearts of many and will be missed. She is survived by her children: Mary, David, Kathy, Debbie and Jeanette as well as eight grandchildren. Mary was from a family of 11 children and leaves two remaining siblings, Bonnie Withers and Pex Branagan. We know she’s at peace, and she is back in the arms of her husband Edward Anderson and son, Eddie Anderson.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:30am at the Green Hills Mortuary & Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
