Marlene Mae Jones passed away peacefully on October 4, 2019 at the age of 79.
She was born on March 5, 1940 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Eugene and Margaret Smith. Marlene spent the majority of her life in California and was a longtime resident of Santa Ana.
Her husband, Charles Lindy Jones, preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by her son: Eugene, a dog: Sweet Pea, and three cats: Misty, Tiffany, and Bernie.
An intimate family burial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Green Hills Memorial Park. Marlene loved animals, so in lieu of flowers, we are asking that you make a donation ASPCA at https://secure.aspca.org/donate/ps-memory-sl-p1 .
