Marlene "Gigi" Grundtisch

Marlene "GiGi" Grundtisch (Griego) passed away surrounded by her family on January 1, 2017. Marlene was born in Colorado to Andreas and Felecita Greigo on March 2 1944. She met her husband when she moved to San Pedro and started a career in the shipping business. She retired from ILWU Local 63 O.C.U after 45 years of service. What she cherished most was spending time with her family and friends. She loved to go to the casino and play the slots.

Marlene is survived by her husband of 50 years Gary. She is survived by her children Felecia (Rob) Tina (Paul) Gary (Jennifer) grandchildren Ashley, Paul, Gabriela, Jaquilyn , Ella. And great grandchildren Joshua Gabriel and Gia.

Visitation will be held on Sunday Jan 8 from 6-9 pm at Green Hills Memorial Park 27501 S. Western Ave Rancho Palos Verdes Funeral service will be at held on Monday Jan 9 at 11:00 at St Margaret Mary 25511 Eshelman Ave Lomita with her reception to follow at 1:00 pm at the VFW Hall 1865 Lomita Blvd Lomita
