Marjorie Goodrich

Marjorie Theresa Goodrich passed away on May 8th, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born in Harlan, Iowa, and always spoke proudly of her Iowa Roots and life on the farm. After leaving Iowa as a young woman, she blazed the trail to California, where she started her career in education and speech therapy for children. After retiring from over 50 years of teaching, she enjoyed traveling, playing bridge with friends, volunteer work for the community, attending classes on nutrition, exercising, and spending time with family.
She is survived by brothers Wayne (Andy) Anastasi (CA) and Lloyd Anastasi (CA) and sisters Lorene Chang (HI), Jacqueline (Jackie) Anastasi (CA), and Cheryl Webster (MO). Her son David Goodrich (GA), wife Latisha (Tisha) Goodrich, and grandchildren Johnathan Goodrich, Jacob Goodrich, and Tiffany Miller. She was pre-deceased by her son, Michael Goodrich. Survived by her daughter-in-law Amanda Stewart (CA) and grandchildren Sarah Posalski and Colin Goodrich. Funeral services will be held at Saint Francis Episcopal Church in Palos Verdes Estates on Tuesday, June 11th at 10:00 am.
