Marina Monje

Born July 10 1931 to Manuel and Francisca Flores, Marina was raised in San Pedro and passed away peacefully on July 15, 2023. Marina was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard and daughters Pat Monje and Lori Garcia.

Marina’s beautiful smile, generous love and infamous laugh will be everlasting. Her impeccable eye for home design, professional sewing and cooking skills were extraordinary. She loved sharing her talents with family and friends.

Marina is survived by her daughters Kathy Campos, Lynda (Joel) Hilbert, and son in law Larry Garcia,
grandchildren Trisha Campos, Nico (Bree) Garcia, Bebe (Zak Arellano) Garcia, Karly Garcia, and great grandchildren Levi and Jade Garcia. She is also survived by her sister, Collie Meraz, sister in law Evelyn Monje and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marina’s funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 25, 2023, at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro. Burial to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
