Marilyn Jean Jordan

Marilyn Jean Jordan, 78, of San Pedro, CA, passed away on May 30, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with Congestive heart failure and pneumonia.

Marilyn was born on July18,1944 to Barbara and Leslie Swarthout in Friendship New York. She had two younger sisters Jackie and Suellen, and one older brother Bill.

In 1961, Marilyn started dating Chuck Jordan in Friendship, NY. Marilyn and Chuck got married in 1965 and went on to have two children, Brent Jordan and Dale Jordan.

In 1974, Marilyn retired and spent her time doing her true passion, being a stay-at-home Mom caring for her two sons. She volunteered in several kid school functions and was a member of the PTA for many years.

Marilyn was predeceased by her Mother Barbara, her father Leslie, and her brother Bill. She is survived by husband Chuck, both her sons Brent (Jennifer) and Dale (Jennifer); seven grandchildren, Max, Conner, Bennett, Ryder, Wyatt, Schroeder, and Emmarae; Sisters Suellen and Jackie

Services will be held at Green Hills Cemetery in San Pedro, CA on June 21, at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Heart Association, www.heart.org/donate
