Marie M. Avila

Marie, the daughter of Marcial and Rosario Monge was born July 17, 1921 in Wilmington, California and passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Fullerton, California. She was preceded in death by her oldest child, Paul and later by Nick, her husband of 67 years. Marie is survived by her four children, Rose Marie Ortega, Suzanne and husband, Marvin Potter, Michael Avila, Denise and husband, Vladimir Aslanian and her daughter-in-law Rose Marie Avila, widow of son Paul; Nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be same day Thursday from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary.
