Marian Zimmermann

Marian passed away at home with her family at her side and her Care Giver Nilda. She had several Care Givers that gave her loving care, Nilda, Edna, Freida from New Century Home Services, Loren Lackey who bathed her for the last two years from Accredited Nursing Services, and our neighbor Celeste who watched over her and baked cookies. Marian was born in Racine, Wisconsin January 11, 1916. She was married to Leonard W Zimmermann for 56 years until he passed in 1998; they lived in Westchester, California since 1949. She is survived by her children William L. Zimmermann and his wife Cathy, Thomas L Zimmermann and Mari Lynne Kennedy. Her grandchildren are Sandy Lovette, Tom Zimmermann, Michael Kennedy, Kristina Kennedy and Jimmy Velarde, she also has 7 Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Martha Olson and Ann Anderson and many nieces and nephews. In her later years she became an AVON lady and had Westchester and Playa Del Rey as her territory. She enjoyed yard work and watching golf and being a part of her grandchildren's lives. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to act.alz.org. (Alzheimer's Association). Viewing will be Friday the 22nd 3pm to 8pm at the administration building.
