Marian M. Tomich

It is with great sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved mother and grandmother Marian M Tomich. She passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2020 at the age of 93. Born February 28, 1926 to Roko and Teresa Katnic she grew up in San Pedro to a humble Croatian fishermen family. She worked for the fisherman insurance exchange till she married the love of her life Joseph Tomich, they were married for 61 years and had 2 children, Joe Jr. (Anna Marie) daughter Valerie, grandson Vincent and Nicholas. She is survived by her brother Andy Katnic and sister in law, Georgia along with several nephews and nieces. Funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday Feb 18 10:30 @ Mary Star of the Sea Church followed by entombment at Green Hills.
