Maria Zenaida Rodriguez

With heartfelt sadness, we share that Maria Zenaida Rodriguez gently passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2024, at the age of 86, in her beloved home in San Pedro, CA. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew her.

Born in Sanchez, AZ, to Isaias and Mary Sanchez, Maria dedicated much of her life to her family and community in Southern California. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, her four children and their spouses, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Though she was predeceased by her husband, parents, and three sisters, her legacy of love remains vibrant.

Maria’s deep Christian faith provided her strength through life’s challenges. She found joy in tending to her garden and relished every precious moment spent with her family. She embodied the roles of daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aaunt, and friend with grace and warmth.

We are grateful for the love and support extended to her during her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Though she will be deeply missed, her loving spirit, wisdom and strength will forever inspire us.

She’s now in heaven, and at peace and has left us with words of wisdom…
