Maria Deblasio

Maria DeBlasio, beloved daughter of the late Costanza (Sessa) and Bernadino DeBlasio, passed away quietly on July 25, 2024, in her Los Angeles home of health-related issues. She was 74 years old. Maria was born December 26, 1949, in Trequanda, Siena, Italy and spent a brief time in France before returning to Italy and then emigrating to the United States.

She is remembered by her loving family, Uncle Aldo Sessa of Medford, MA; Aunt Matilde Sessa of Medford, MA; and Aunt Marion Sessa of Middleton, MA. She is also survived by cousins Alfonso (Enzo) Sessa and wife Susan of Pinellas Park, FL; Natalino (Lino) Sessa and wife Kristine of Spencer, MA; Giancarlo Sessa and wife Janice of Everett, MA; Tina Giorgione and late husband Guiseppe of Medford, MA; Tullio Sessa and wife Margaret of Tewksbury, MA and Sergio Sessa and wife Helen of Tewksbury, MA; Immacolatina (Tina) Marie Rogers and husband Kenny of Naples, FL; Marcello E. Sessa of Medford, MA; Massimo A. Sessa of Londonderry, NH; John Sessa and late wife Barbara of Seminole, FL; Linda Sessa and husband Keith of Lynn, MA; Michael Sessa of Washington, DC; Gina Walseman and husband Jim of Fort Myers, FL; William (Billy) Sessa and wife Marianne of Blufton, SC; Maryjane Cardarelli and husband John of Middleton, MA and Anthony (Tony) Sessa and wife Danila of Augusta, GA; Kathleen Sessa-Federico and husband Richard of Reading, MA; Ann Sarno and husband Daniel of Wilmington, MA; Amy Tenaglia and husband Stephen of Medford, MA.

Maria was predeceased by Uncle Gaetano and Aunt Anna Sessa, Uncle Natalino (Nat) Sessa, Uncle Emilio (Leo) and Aunt Jeanette Sessa, Uncle Oslavio (Billy) Sessa, and Aunt Frances Sessa.

Maria was laid to rest in Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 on April 16, 2025, alongside her mother Costanza, who was laid to rest there in 2017. Maria’s father, Bernadino, was laid to rest in 1978 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, CA.
