Maria R. Chian

Maria Renee Burga de Chian passed away on Thursday, August 20th, 2015 in Harbor City, California at the age of 85. Renee was born in Chiclayo, Peru on December 8th, 1929. In 1970, she moved to San Pedro, California with her husband Ricardo Chian, who preceded her in 2011, and their four children, Rosanna Clifton (Tiger), Richard Chian (Monica), Rosa Toledo (Ricardo) and Martin Chian (Mona). They settled in San Pedro eventually moving to Harbor City. Renee was a homemaker and enjoyed getting together with her family and relatives. Aside from her children, she leaves behind seven grandchildren, Samantha, Erin, Andrew, Derek, Brandon, Nicholas and Sarah and one great granddaughter, Ivy. Renee had many close relatives, among them Margarita and Felix Vega and their children Nadia and Omar and her niece Silvia Burga and daughter Isabella whom reside in San Pedro. She felt blessed by the love and support she received from her family and many dear friends who came to visit her in her last month of life. A remembrance service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 28th at 1:00 p.m. followed by her interment next to her dear husband Ricardo E. Chian.

Maria Renee Burga de Chian falleció el Jueves, 20 de Agosto de 2015 en Harbor City, California a la edad de 85 años. Renee nació en Chiclayo, Perú el 8 de Diciembre de 1929. En 1970, Renee y su esposo Ricardo Chian se mudaron a San Pedro, California con sus cuatro hijos, Rosanna Clifton (Tiger), Richard Chian (Monica), Rosa Toledo (Ricardo) y Martin Chian (Mona). Eventualmente se mudaron a Harbor City, California. A Renee le gustaba reunirse con toda su familia, ya sea aquellos que vivian cerca ó con muchos de los familiares que venían de visita del Perú. Aparte de sus hijos, Renee estaba encantada con sus siete nietos, Samantha, Erin, Andrew, Derek, Brandon, Nicholas y Sarah, pero ultimamente le encantaba saber de su bisnietita Ivy, hijita de Samantha. Renee también disfrutaba de las visitas de sus queridos sobrinos Margarita, Felix, Nadia y Omar Vega y Silvia é Isabella Burga, quienes viven en San Pedro. En su último mes de vida, Renee se sintió muy querida por todos los familiares y amigos quienes vinieron a visitarla. Su Servicio Recordatorio se llevará a cabo en la capilla de Green Hills Memorial Park, éste Viernes, 28 de Agosto a la 1:00 p.m. Después del servicio, será enterrada al lado de su querido esposo Ricardo E. Chian
