Margarita Vasconcelos

Margarita Vasconcelos passed away September 5, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born May 10, 1929 in Michoacan, Mexico and had been a longtime resident of Wilmington, California.

Margarita is survived by her children Arthur (Irma) Vasconcelos, William (Faith) Vasconcelos, Priscilla Vasconcelos, Linda Jimenez; grandchildren Otto Jimenez, Erik Jimenez, Arthur Vasconcelos Jr., Angie Vasconcelos, Luke Vanconcelos; and great-granddaugter Mia Vasconcelos.

Margarita worked as a Bilingual Teachers Aid at Wilmington Park Elementary School where she was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her young students.

Margarita was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved babysitting her grandchildren, watching the Los Angeles Lakers and Spanish soap operas.
