Marc Anthony Gallardo

Marc Anthony Gallardo, 54, passed away early June of this year. His viewing will be held between the hours of 4:30pm-8:30pm on Thursday, June 20th and funeral services will be at 12pm on June 21st of 2019. Both services held at the beautiful Green Hills Mortuary.

Marc was born in 1964 to David and Joyce Gallardo. He was raised in San Pedro along with his older brother David and two sisters, Angel and Davina. At the young age of 17, he had his first daughter, Andreena. Several years later, he met a woman whom he fell in love with. They wed in 1990 and had three daughters – Lynnsae, Chelsea and Amber and were together for about twenty years. He worked many years for Local 13 ILWU. He was a hard working crane operator and spent many hours in their committee. In the early 2000s, Marc discovered a small town in the San Jacinto Mountains. He absolutely adored the town and the people who resided in it. He eventually became a member of the community and was loved by many as his humor and love for people was strongly apparent.

If you knew Marc, you’d know he was an extremely passionate man. Whatever he believed in, he made it apparent. He was headstrong, intelligent and sometimes a little too stubborn, but all for good reason. Marc had an undying love for music. He knew how to play the guitar very well and at any chance given, would show off his skills. He was interested in law and learned as much as he could about our system.

He is survived by all of his daughters and siblings, many cousins and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents. Marc will be missed dearly, but will forever be in our hearts.
