Manuel Redondo Ortiz

Manuel passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the age of 85. He was born in Monrovia, Ca on January 20, 1929. He joined the Air Force and served in the Korean War. Worked for Douglas Aircraft for several years and was employed by Johns Manville for over 28 years then worked for Pick Your Part for many years as a car buyer. He is survived by his son, Samuel (Denise) Ortiz; sisters, Caroline Palos and Mary Louise Fausto (Lucio); granddaughters, Reina Ann Bonilla (Gilbert) and Marlow Gonzales; great granddaughters, Serenity and Savannah; great grandson, David Lowy and daughter in law, Teresa Solo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Manuel's passion was earning trophies for restoring old cars and trucks. He was a kind, loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by many. Thank God for the loving care Manuel received from his loving caregivers, Lorna and Vern Knowles.
