Manijeh Ghaderi was born May 25, 1929 and passed away surrounded by the love of her family on April 9th, 2014 in San Pedro, California. Originally from Iran, she resided in San Pedro, CA for the past 30 years.
Manijeh was a loving mother to four children, Nader (Vanessa) of San Pedro, CA; Ahmad (Susan) of Westlake Village, CA; Bahram (Patrice) of St. Charles, IL and one daughter Kathy of San Pedro, CA. She was married for over 50 years to her husband Jahangir. She cared for him selflessly over the last 10 years as he went through the stages of Alzheimer's Disease. Manijeh was also a devoted and caring grandmother to her 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Brendon, Austin, Kailey, Gabrielle, Maya, Siena, Drake and Soleil Ghaderi. She welcomed her first great-grandchild, Madison, earlier this year.
She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love that will never be forgotten. Her friends, neighbors and all who had the pleasure of knowing Manijeh know that she opened her arms and door to all who came to her home. She would share conversation, a warm meal or a cup of tea and make you feel cared for and welcome. There will be a void where her generous spirit once filled.
A Memorial Service to celebrate and honor her life will be held Friday April 18th, 2014.
Visitation time 2:30pm with memorial service beginning at 3:00pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 South Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
Interment immediately following in Green Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
