Lucy Omectin

It brings our family great sadness to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Ms. Lucy Omectin. She resided in her Long Beach home for several years accompanied by her partner Daniel Esparza and her grandson Gabriel Gonzalez. She lived a fabulous 91 years and passed peacefully on November 25th, 2022.

She was a beautiful Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt & Friend she loved spending time with her family, gardening, shopping, caring for her fur babies Blue, Baby & Annie Oakley she was always up for going on a good road trip as long as shopping was involved on the way. She will be greatly missed by her family and those that she shared her life with.

Preceded in death by her parents Conrad & Jovita Omectin, her sister's Lupe Gardea & Elsie Valdez, and her brothers Conrad, John, Julio & Leonard Omectin. She is survived by her children Linda Nuno(Tony), Chris Hernandez (Joe), Gloria Chavez(Joey), Art Tudy Gonzalez, Joe Gonzalez & Eugene(Sylvia)Gonzalez along with her Grandchildren & Great-grandchildren who she loved so deeply and was so very proud of them all & her life partner Daniel Esparza.

Lucy was a beautiful women with an amazing personality. She loved all things fashion and decor, she truly embodied the saying "shop till you drop". Lucy was the best Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend, our family will forever miss her vibrant spirit. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 11:30 am at Green Hills Cemetery Chapel.
