Lucille Palmira Costa

Lucille passed away peacefully at her home in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on February 3, 2014. She was the eldest of five children born to Alberto and Palmira Figueiredo on Jan 24, 1919 in Brockton, MA. Lucille and Barbarino Costa came to California in 1946. Her other siblings were Michael, Joe, still living are Connie Alho and Tony (Marty) Figueiredo. She was the beloved wife of Barbarino Costa for 46 years, who pre-deceased her in 1991.She will be forever remembered by her children Vincenzina (Jim) Russell, Albert (Gloria) Costa, Richard Costa and Robert Costa, treasured grandchildren Robert (Karen) Hodge, Christina Costa, Christian Costa, Albert Costa, Kristy (Chad) Hodges, Jay Russell and Jodi Russell (Michael Magana) and great grandchildren Falcon Hodge, Tatianna Hodge, Alicia Hodge, Albert Costa, Giovanni Costa, Ezra Costa, Mia Magana and Jayden Hodges. Lucille touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. She loved to cook, bake, play bingo and visiting with her close friends at the Anderson Center Senior Citizens meetings. She never missed a bus ride to the casinos. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 3PM to 8PM on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 South Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90703, 1-877-981-7755. A memorial service will be held on Monday February 10, 2014 at 9:AM at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
