Lucille "Lucy" Apeau

Lucille "Lucy" Adeline Drapeau was born in Espanola, New Mexico on June 2, 1941. She was the eldest of 8 children, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Lucille moved to California where she met the love of her life Robert "Bob" Drapeau. Bob and Lucy just celebrated their 62 Wedding anniversary on November 24, 2017. Lucy had 5 children John from Torrance, Curtis from Torrance, Tina Behning from Torrance, Michael from Calabasas, and David from Torrance. Lucy had 9 grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren.
Lucys first love was her family then the love of food. She loved to cook and listen to music. She enjoyed reading, doing her crossword puzzles, playing Candy Crush and going to concerts with her youngest son David. Lucy always welcomed everyone with open arms and a infectious smile, into her home. She made you feel warm and enjoyed whatever she was making, to warm the soul. Lucy also enjoyed the horse races and had great luck with picking the longshot winners. She also enjoyed watching football with the love of her life, while sipping on her daily iced drink from Starbucks, who everyone there knew. Lucy was great at making homemade cream puffs, unforgettable tortillas and bringing the family together to make tamales during the holidays.
Lucy passed away at home peacefully in her sleep after years of battling a variety of medical issues. She will be loved, missed and remembered.
