Lisa M. Gerlach

Mrs. Lisa Gerlach passed away peacefully, at her home, on Monday morning, January 10, 2012. Her family, husband Steven, daughter Brooke, and son Matthew were at her side. She was 52 years old.
Lisa Mary Gerlach was predeceased in 1982 by her beloved father, Theodore D Benell and in 1999, by her cherished mother, Dorothea Benell. She will be sadly missed by her brother Craig Benell, his wife Marion, and their children Charlie and Caitie of Pacific Palisades, CA.
Lisa loved to travel and be with family. She enjoyed many trips to Palm Springs and recently to Ocotillo Wells, CA to ride her new quad with the rest of her family. She also delighted in her job as a Compliance Manager at Kaiser Permanente. Lisa spent quite of few years working with many different people as an employee there. She always loved and cared for the people she was around whether it was at work or at home. She was a kind and compassionate person, always putting others before herself.
To honor Lisa's wishes, cremation is scheduled to take place, with a celebration of her life to be held at Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel.
The Gerlach family would like to thank the hospice nurses and staff of Kaiser Permanente, for their compassionate care to their wife and mother, while she had fallen ill. Thank you all for your love and support during this rough season. Lisa will be deeply missed by her friends, but mostly by her beloved husband and children.
