Linda May Parks Desrosiers, 74, wife, mother, grandmother and known by many as Nana, died peacefully on June 24, 2019 at her home in Hawthorne, California.
Linda was born to Richard E. and Olive Parks on April 27, 1945 in Greenfield, Massachusetts. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1963 and later moved to Inglewood, California in 1964. By fate she was introduced to Gary Desrosiers (Orange, Massachusetts native) in California.
Linda raised two sons, Barry and Mark Desrosiers, and donated much of her time at their school. In 1975, she was eventually hired by Jefferson Elementary school in Lennox,CA as a Teacher Aid. She would later get promoted to Resource Clerk where she handled all the resource materials for the teachers. She dedicated 29 years of service and retired in 2004.
After 2004, she enjoyed her retirement by spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed many trips to Hawaii and Massachusetts.
She is survived by husband Gary, her two sons Barry and Mark, daughters-in-law Gabriela and Alejandra, and her grandchildren Baron, Trevor, Linda, Rosario, Mallorie and Mia. As well as her Mother Olive Sadler, her brothers Dick, Rob, Toby, and Richard.
She would always say her greatest accomplishment in life was her influence on her two sons and grandchildren.
