Lily Cicy Wong

Beloved mother and grandmother, Lily Wong, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. She was 86 years old.

Lily was married to William Wong, who in 1979, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Bennett (61), and his wife, Mary (59). She is also the grandmother to Bennett and Mary’s 3 children, Christopher (31), Matthew (27) and Shannon (22).

Lily was born in Shanghai, China, and came to the United States for college. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno. After getting married to William, she worked for the Palos Verdes Unified School District as a bookkeeper, and eventually retired from this position.

Lily enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved to travel with them. The highlight of her family travels was a trip to China with Bennett, Mary, and her grandchildren, where they were able to visit Lily's childhood home in Shanghai.

Her service will be a private ceremony for immediate family members only.
