Lillian "Jane" Forsberg

Lillian, the daughter of Max and Evelyne Poindexter, was born May 22, 1938 in Long Beach, California and passed away after a long illness on Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Ranch Palos Verdes, California. Jane was a member of the Wilmington Women's Club for many years, holding several board offices including, President, in addition to being a member of the Rolling Hills Estates Women's Club. Over the years she had been a Cub Scout Den Mother, participated for many years on her Local Election Board, Toastmasters, was a 4-H Project Leader, and more recently was involved with her husband in a local chapter of Coca-Cola Memorabilia Collectors. She loved to read and loved to sew, and enjoyed traveling, but loved spending time with her family most of all. Lillian is survived by Howard, the love of her life and husband of 57 years; her devoted children, Edwin (Diane) Forsberg and Janice (John) Allen; her brother, Roy (Sonja) Poindexter; three beautiful grandchildren, Melissa (Dustin) White, Emily (Cameron) Sprifke and Wyatt Allen; treasured family friend, Charles Lansing; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 30th from 3:00 – 8:00 PM in the Malaga Suite at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 30th at the interment site in Green Hills Memorial Park.
