Lea R. Almaraz

Lea Almaraz passed away on January 16th, 2018 in Torrance, CA. Born in San Pedro, CA, she was the daughter of Carlos and Luiza Pereyra, one of seven children. She was married to Simon Almaraz and had two sons, Simon Jr. and Charlie. She had a long, successful career at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Lea loved trips to Vegas, spending time with her many family members, good meals and a nice glass of wine. She will be remembered for her vivacious personality, witty charm, love of life and family, and kind, warm heart. She is survived by her son Charlie and granddaughters Jennifer and Christina. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 25th at 9AM at Green Hills Chapel 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. The viewing will be held from 3PM to 8PM on Wednesday, January 26th at the Green Hills main lobby at the same address.
