Lawrence R. Taylor

April 22, 1969 — August 9, 2020

Lawrence R. Taylor, 51, died unexpectedly on August 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 22, 1969 in Redondo Beach California, the son of Gail E. And Toni B. (Torres) Taylor. Lawrence attended Redondo Beach Union High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Angela Chavez, and settled in Lomita California. They would have celebrated 21 years of marriage on December 4th of this year.

Lawrence was a member of the Harbor City/Lomita Kiwanis and was a parishioner at Saint Margaret Mary Church, where he was active with the Holy Name Society, Cornerstone, and the Lomita Fair Board for many years. He rode with P66 Warriors to raise money for charities dedicated to finding cures for cancer and other illnesses. The St. Margaret Mary community was his family, and he cherished all the friends he made over the years.

He was a dedicated husband and father, a man of faith and love. He inherited his devout faith from his mother Toni. He prayed for all his friends and their families without hesitation. You could always count on Larry (LT) Taylor for anything, at any time, and the sky was the limit.
He enjoyed the simple things life, and always worked hard at everything he did.

He was pre-deceased by his father Gail E. Taylor, and a sister, Mary Taylor. He is survived by his wife Angela (Chavez) Taylor, his daughters Jazmin (Taylor) Arias, Pamela Taylor, and Leann Taylor; and his sons Julian Taylor and Adrian Taylor.
