Lawrence "Larry" Lepore passed away after a long illness on the morning of May 14, 2014. Larry was born in New York on August 4, 1928 the third child of Vito and Rose Sciancalepore. He grew up in White Plains with his sister and brother, and joined the Army just after the war in October of 1946. He was reordered to active duty in September of 1950, serving during the Korean War and was discharged in March of 1952. He settled in Torrance where he married and brought up his three sons. He worked as a real estate agent and broker for 35 years. Larry was an active member of the Elks club and Dalmatian Club of San Pedro. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. His loyalty, cheerfulness, and constant devotion to his family and friends will truly be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his three sons, Steve, Larry and Ralph Lepore, three grandchildren, Stephanie, Gregory and Danielle Lepore and two great grandchildren, Mikayla and Riley Blodgett. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Friday, May 23, 2014 with a service to follow at 1:00pm, Green Hills Mortuary, Rancho Palos Verdes.
