Lavonne Solie, the daughter of Lafayette Jackson and Vena Hill, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2012 at the age of 89.
She was born on July 15, 1923 in Los Angeles, California and had been a long time resident of San Pedro.
Lavonne is survived by her beloved children, John (Judy) Kordich, Jane (Ken) Niles, Jim Kordich (pre-deceased) and grandchildren, Kate (Doug Smith) Kordich, Kristin Kordich, Tom Kordich, Emma Niles, Jackson Niles and John Kordich. An interment site service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
