Lance "Lanzo" Higgins, Sr.

Lance "Lanzo" Higgins Sr. passed away suddenly January 1st 2015. He will forever be remembered for his influential character and be dearly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lance was born on the 17th of July 1965 in San Pedro California. Second born of mother Joyce Higgins and father Edwin Higgins, Lance graduated from San Pedro high school in 1983. Following in his fathers foot steps, He became a member of the local 250 union and an employee of United Air Conditioning for 26 years. For the past three and a half years he was blessed to be working alongside his younger brother Grant on the engineering team at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
Lance was a dedicated man in ever sense of the word. He took a tremendous amount of pride in his work, loved his job, and the people he worked with. He was loved by many and had a great impact on just about every person he met. Family was always a top priority to Lance He enjoyed working, camping taking road trips, helping others, working on cars, and spending quality time with family. Lance will forever be remembered as the hard working, selfless, honest, personable man that he was.
Lance Sr. is survived by his loving wife Katie, his four children; Lance Jr., Daniel, Gabe, Raena, his grandson Caleb, Mother Joyce, brother Grant Sr. and wife Debby, sister Joyetta and husband Sean, nieces and nephews; Grant Jr., Travis, Amber, Desiree, Alena, Celina, and his great nieces Mackynzie and Aubree.
Lance is preceded in death by his father Edwin "Cappy" Higgins and brother Danny G. Higgins.
A truly loving father, son grandfather, brother, uncle, and dear friend gone but never forgotten... Lance "Lanzo" Higgins.
Services will be held at Green Hills Chapel 3pm January 9th 2015.
