Kristin Liana Smith

On May 18, 1967 quietly and unannounced, an angel entered this world and on September 18, 2016, just as quietly, she returned home to heaven.

Kristin was born 49 years ago in Torrance, California and soon after her arrival it was known that her life would be different; she was a gift from God and her life would be special. Born with cerebral palsy, she faced challenges throughout her life but she had a spirit that was far greater than her limitations and she spread joy to everyone whoever had even a brief moment of contact with her. For someone who didn't speak or write, she spoke volumes and touched countless lives with the spark in her eyes and an unforgettable smile that could light up not just a room but an entire city. Her legacy is not one of material wealth, or fame, but one of people whose lives and hearts are forever changed because they knew her and will never forget her.

Kristin leaves behind countless family and friends who will miss and love her for the rest of their days.

Services will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 27, in St. Peter's Church at Green Hills.
