Kristi Lucero

To know Kristi was to love her. There was not a life she entered that wasn't changed for the better. Kristi adored every minute of her life as wife, mother, and grandmother. During her 34 years working at Kaiser Hospital, her lifetime involvement in the Lutheran Church, and her 20 years volunteering with the Girl Scouts, Kristi always strove to make a positive, loving impact on the world around her.
Kristi was surrounded by a multitude of friends and family members when she went to be with our Lord after many years of failing health. Born in Rapid City, SD, Kristi moved to San Pedro with her family in 1960 and spent the greater part of her life in this community. Kristi passed too soon, leaving many family members to carry on her legacy. She is survived by Stevan, her ever-devoted husband of 37 years, her daughters Jennifer Wimberly (David), Kristina Fong (Durwin), and Melissa Ohlstrom (Jake), six grandchildren, her great-grandson, her brother Randy Sorensen (Sharon) and her large extended family. The family invites all who shared in her life to celebrate her spirit at the following: visitation on Thursday, 7/31 from 3pm-8pm, funeral on Friday, 8/1 at 1pm. All services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes.
