Kenneth Nottingham

Kenneth Nottingham, born November 19, 1923, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2014 in San Pedro, CA. Born in Adrian, Michigan, his parents moved to San Pedro when he was a little boy. Growing up he loved sports and was proud to have played Catcher on San Pedro High School's Varsity Baseball Team and to go on to also play in the Army. In January, 1943, he left his employment at Bethlehem Shipyard to serve in the Army for three years during World War II, where he received four medals.
An avid fisherman, retirement served him well as he also developed a passion for golfing. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Nottingham. He was a much loved and well-respected man who will always be remembered for his sense of humor!
He is survived by his loving daughters, Karen Nottingham Farran, Lori Nottingham and sister Betty Newhall along with grandchildren and close family.
Memorial services will be on Monday, August 25, 2014, 1:00pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
