Born Dec. 29, 1918 in Los Angeles, Ca. Raised in San Pedro, Ca. Enlisted in the U.S. Army in Oct. 1940 and served in the South Pacific. Awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star in the Philippine Liberation and completed 2 years and 9 months of combat duty. Married Bertie Lee and settled in Harbor City. He went to work for North American Aviation as a core maker. He continued to work in the aviation industry until retirement in 1982. Father to sons; Kenneth Jr., John, Thomas and Michael with 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A 60 year member of Wayside Methodist Church. Involved with baseball, boy scouts, indian guides with his sons. Our Hero left a sterling example for all to follow. He loved, helped, supported all without judgment and rock solid in his faith. He smiled through the pain of age and wanted all to be happy. He is with the Lord and his family. No more pain, only eternal joy. See ya later Pop.
