Kenji Shinoda

Kenji Shinoda, the son of Kuzo and Nashi Shinoda, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2013 at the age of 92. He was born on December 4, 1920 in California and had been a long time resident of Rancho Palos Verdes. Kenji is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Shinoda; daughter, Susan (Richard) Gillette; grandchildren, Gavin, Aiko, and Derek; great granddaughter, Ellowyn and siblings, Kiyo, Taye, Muto and Akira. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Fuji, Yoshi, Ryuichi, Hitoshi, Mikio, Seiichi, Make, Shigeru and Sumi. Church service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11am at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 5975 Armaga Spring Road in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park.
